Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays| Perfect for families, homeschoolers, youth groups & birthday parties!
We’ve got it all on the Sarasota Suncoast!
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays | A creepy walking tour on Anna Maria Island with stories of its ghosts & dark history.
Take a step back in time as you explore the “Wild Women of Sarasota.” You will hear about Mary Jane Whittaker and her contemporaries on this story filled walking tour. As early homesteaders, they were faced with extreme heat of summer, swarms of insects, many snakes, alligators, and Indians!
While the 1920’s was “Boom & Bust” period, the memorable women of that time often went unnoticed by their male counterparts and history. We will change that with stories of the ladies even locals haven’t heard about!
At the end of the tour you will partake of a toast to these amazing women with a glass of wine and receive a copy of “Bertha’s Brownies” recipe!
“Al Capone runs rum to the Midwest” “Women Allowed in the Secret Service”
Find out about these headlines & SO much more on “Wild Women of Anna Maria Island.” Includes a glass of wine & cheese plate also. Join us in raising a glass to celebrate these amazing women!
A 1.5 hour adventure!
