When: Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays
Location: The tour begins on Casperson Beach in Venice and then you will follow our guide in your vehicle to downtown Venice for the remainder of the tour with a special ‘treasure’ stop and family family lunch!
Start Time: 9 a.m.
Duration: 3.5 hours
Includes: All the hunting equipment, an opportunity to turn your finds into mementos, lunch plus a professional guide who LOVES entertaining!
Attire: Beachwear or other suitable attire. Please keep in mind you’re walking on shells at times, may get wet, are walking in Venice and going into a restaurant for lunch after the beach.
What to bring: Bring water and sunscreen! You will be in the sun on the beach for approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.
Weather: We tour rain or shine so please dress appropriately for the weather

“Wow wow wow!!! We had the most incredible experience! We viewed an osprey nest (with Momma standing guard) then headed down the the beach for our shark teeth hunt. We were VERY successful (about 40 teeth and over a dozen other collectibles, such as sting ray jaw bones). After our hunt we went into town where our bounty was reviewed & we heard some incredible information about them, more history of the area the & the shark teeth. After that, we dined on a fantastic wood oven pizza. This tour is a MUST of all ages! – Ed L., KS

This family-friendly tour is a memorable, fun AND educational experience including stories, demonstrations and all the equipment needed for exploration on Casperson Beach in Venice.
- Why? Because that’s where the most shark teeth can be found! We want to ensure your family truly enjoys the ‘hunt’ and the young ones are just thrilled with finding their own teeth.
- The tour then continues to downtown Venice where you will have the opportunity to turn their treasures into a necklace or earrings to wear home! Did we mention that a “BITE” to eat is included while in Venice? Well it is – including kid-friendly lunches for those 14 and under.

- Please note that the minimum age allowed is five years old. If you have children under the age of 5 yrs. you would like to bring, you must contact our office at 941-893-4664 prior to booking your tour.
- Any youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old or older at all times who will also assume all responsibility for his/her safety.
*Please note that all tours require a minimum of 4 people. This does not mean one party must book 4 individuals, but that our total headcount achieves the minimum. We will notify you if we have not reached this capacity and will always strive to accommodate our valued guests!*
